How not to play golf?

In golf, there is a cliché: practice does not make perfect.

Incorrect technique and hitting thousands of balls on the course, range, grounds and gardens is never enough. After all that time, energy and emotional pain you may still be unable to improve your game.

Even the pros, with the lives of experience, will admit: Golf is a fickle mistress. Some days - nothing works.

You’ll spend days or weeks trying to dissect what went wrong? “Was it in my drive, my chipping or my putting?”

Come the next golf day and in my head, I have figured it out, only to continue week after week with this fairy tale.

My only consolation is my stash of Roasted Salted Mixed Nuts tucked in the middle compartment of my golf bag somewhere between

my gloves and tees.
